If you are reading this and do not have a twitter, or know what twitter is, then you are not Apostolic. Everyone who is in the know in the UPC has a twitter and the best Apostolic tweeters will display their twitter fame by ripping off simple but yet "profound" one line inspirational messages from John Maxwell or Andy Stanley, or trying to write their own profound tweets....Whether or not the Tweets are actually biblical or not is not important as long as the twitter sermons are deep enough to make you think and say "that's really good! I am going to use that in my next message!"
One is in the cool group of tweeters when these inspirational messages are tweeted directly @someone. If you're name isn't listed after the "@", then you are not of Apostolic Fame.
Even more depressing is for those like myself who do not twitter, and yet are bound to decoding twitter messages that are synced with someone's facebook updates.
So for instance, on facebook we will read: "Great service tonight. God really moved. Three baptized @JohnDoe@JoelRiley@GlenMcGee. And as I am lost in confusion at such a status, I can't help but wonder if I had just been baptized.
